$300 Million Regional Revitalization Partnership

Main Light Strategies was honored to be part of the New York State’s Regional Revitalization Partnership (RRP), a $300M strategic investment in the cities of Buffalo, Rochester, and Niagara Falls. Working with the University at Buffalo Regional Institute, through the support of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, we helped secure a funding partnership from New York State and local government, philanthropic organizations and the business community. In addition to strengthening the three underserved target areas, the RRP is designed as a community and economic revitalization model for other regions across New York State and the country.

Christopher J. Schoepflin

Founder & Principal

Chris Schoepflin has over 25 years of experience in economic and community development, real estate, and sports and entertainment, and has provided executive-level strategy and complex project delivery in both government and the private sector. Prior to starting Main Light Strategies, Chris held the roles of Vice President at Pegula Sports & Entertainment and Senior Vice President for Empire State Development.

As principal of Main Light Strategies, Chris is engaged and hands-on in every project, from conducting ground-level research to forging public-private partnerships.
